Doctor Amanda D Barbosa
Dr Amanda D Barbosa received her undergraduate degree in Veterinary Medicine (2009) and a Masters in Epidemiology and Public health (2011) from Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais, Brazil, and a PhD in Veterinary Sciences from Murdoch University (2018). Amanda has 12 years of research experience and was recently awarded the 2019 Odile Bain Memorial Prize in recognition of her achievements as an early career researcher, in particular her publications on the genetic diversity of protozoan parasites in Australian native mammals and their ticks, within a One Health framework.
