Doctor Andrew Ratchford
Dr Andrew Ratchford is the Director of Emergency Medicine, and Senior Staff Specialist at the Northern Beaches Hospital in Sydney. He is an expert in emergency department (ED) management and has been involved in tick research, both with respect to allergy and anaphylaxis, and infectious diseases, providing the current research team with samples since 2014. We anticipate that approximately 60% of the cases for this study will be recruited in the EDs of hospitals in the Northern Beaches, and Dr Andrew's oversight of this is critical to the success of the project as a whole.
