Doctor Charlotte Oskam
Dr Charlotte Oskam is a senior lecturer at Murdoch University. Charlotte received her undergraduate degree in Biomedical Science (2004) and Masters in Science (2008) from the University of Otago, New Zealand and in 2013 she graduated with a PhD in Biological Sciences and Biotechnology from Murdoch University. Charlotte has made significant contributions to the field of tick-borne diseases, and brings to the team expertise in next generation sequencing, phylogenetics and bioinformatics, skills that have been applied successfully in the last five years to discoveries about the microbiome of Australian ticks.
