Doctor Helen Faddy
Dr Helen Faddy is a Senior Lecturer in Biomedical Science at the University of the Sunshine Coast. She holds honorary research appointments at the Australian Red Cross Lifeblood, the University of Queensland (UQ), and Queensland University of Technology. Helen’s research is highly applied and focused on the implications of emerging infectious diseases for blood transfusion safety and public health more broadly, in Australia and globally. Helen's role will be to coordinate the recruitment and management of blood donors who volunteer to become external controls (group 3) for this study.
