Emeritus Professor Peter Irwin
Prof Peter Irwin is Professor of Veterinary Clinical Science at Murdoch University. Peter is a veterinary scientist and parasitologist with 20 years’ experience leading Murdoch's research into tick-borne diseases with Prof Una Ryan. He has > 120 publications, most pertaining to vector-borne diseases, and is an expert in tick-associated infectious diseases in animals. Peter collaborates with international tick disease experts and was invited to provide expertise to the CACLD and to two parliamentary hearings on TBI in Australia. Prof Peter Irwin leads this multidisciplinary team.
