Professor Roy Hall
Prof Roy Hall is a Professor of Virology at the University of Queensland. He is a specialist in vector-borne virology and his research explores emerging arthropod-borne viruses with a focus on their pathogenesis and the development of novel vaccine and diagnostic platforms. The work of his group has led to the design and development of novel diagnostic assays and vaccine candidates and the discovery of several new mosquito- and tick-borne viruses. Roy’s contribution to this project will be in viral discovery and characterisation.
